WHOOOOO'S TOO CUTE?!

So my sisters, my mom, and I had a girls weekend in Midway for Swiss days and it was a blast.  We stayed at the MMMMM Motel and were so impressed with their courtyard garden, and continental breakfast.  (Don't try looking this up because it is a joke).  If you don't know what Swiss days is, you need to find out and go.  It is everything handmade, and super fun.  My sister had a booth selling jeans, and we decided to make it a trip to keep her company.  You can see her stuff here.

I made some purchases, but the one thing I knew I was not going to leave without was this.....

I know, RIGHT?!!! She is so cute in it!!! Thanks to Grandma for making it possible.  And yes there are a lot of pictures, but I couldn't help it.

Oh and Little Miss A is sitting up now!!!!

Attention Tyra Banks:  I have found a new top model because I am pretty sure this is the youngest girl to ever smile with her eyes....
I could not stop laughing at this cute face!!! I am sure you will see more of this hat at the barn, and in my photography.  I love it!!!!

4th of July at the Barn

So life at the Barn has been crazy with summer happenings, photography jobs, and vacations.  I have some updating to do in the next couple days.  I think a good place to start is the 4th of July.

Auntie Rach and Auntie Jen have come to visit us at the barn.  We feel so lucky to have such great family, and love having visitors.  Auntie Rach loves to come to the barn in the summer to escape the heat of the deserts in Arizona, and Auntie Jen came to escape being by herself while Uncle Cov was doing a 7 week internship in China.  Mr. E has loved having some of his cousins in town, and Little Miss A is having fun watching them all run wild.

We had a great 4th at the barn.  We went to the freedom festival parade with Nana and Papa, and took Mr. L with us. It was so fun and we love going and having our traditional breakfast by Nana.
Then went to their house afterwards for a bbq lunch.

(Miss A's bow is compliments of Grandma B, We love it!)

We then packed dinner and went down to see some fireworks.

(Discovering dandelions!)

Of course, what is fireworks with out a little face paints.

Little Miss A, and Little El looked so cute in their fourth of july garb, that I couldn't help but take pictures...lots of pictures.

(This hat is from our good friend Alane Frazier.  Thank you!)

(Though this is disgusting, this is how she looks most of the time!)

                                                   (love this frowny face!)

Auntie Rach sells denim.  I took some promo pictures for her, and for a friend who sales these cute romper tops!

That's a little of all the wonderful things happening here at the barn.

Latest Happenings at the Barn...

There has been much rejoicing here at the barn.  Why?  Because the sun has finally decided to come out and play.  Even with the rainstorms about, the sun has shone down on the barn with it's beautiful rays.  I have to admit that growing up in Arizona, my heart is very fond of sunny rainstorms.

The kids at the barn, Mr. E and Little Miss A, are rejoicing that they no longer have to live like chickens in the coop.  They can go outside and enjoy the day playing ball, swinging on the big tire swing on the old tree out in the back, or just watching the rollie pollie bugs wander in the dirt.  During the few rainstorms that passed through, we did however have to spend some moments inside, which led to spur of the moment photo shoots.  Mr. E is such the little man of the barn and rises to his role so well.  He is such a wonderful big brother, it amazes me.

Mr. E was exhausted by the end of our shoot; he is a very funny boy.  Little Miss A's outfit inspired a new look called, "Little Miss from the farm, now in the hood".  I think she pulled it off quite well.

She is a joy at the Barn! This summer we are going to have many visitors at the barn.  Auntie Jen and Cousin El are the first to come and visit. El just HAD to get in with her cousins on one of the photo shoots here at the barn.

It's true, most things that happen here at the barn are quite simple and ordinary, but to the Lady in the Barn, they are more significant and extraordinary than anyone will ever know.

That's what happened today,
